7 months old!

Every time I talk about Jack's age it will always start with, "I can't believe Jack is ___ months/years old". I never thought I would be one of those people but time really does fly. I honestly cannot believe Jack is 7 months old!! He is so much fun right now and I am so happy to have the summer to spend with him. We have a little routine down (and for those of you who know me you know how much I love routines!). Jack has been sleeping in until 5:30 consistently but the past week I have seen a couple of 7 am days. I think he is starting to figure this summer schedule out. After he wakes up he eats, rests and digests, and then jumps for a while. After that he comes in the room with me while I get ready for the gym then we get him ready for the gym. When we get home he eats and takes about a 2 hour nap then it's time to eat and play again! He gets tired around 3 and takes another snooze and wakes up ready to play before dinner and a bath. He has started eating more foods too...he now eats pears, avocados, and bananas for breakfast (we are trying some yogurt tomorrow) and at night he has started to eat chicken along with his peas, sweet potatoes, carrots and yellow squash. He is a fantastic eater! There isn't anything he has turned down yet. He definitely doesn't get that from me! I'm a bit of a picky eater when it comes to smell and texture... He now has 5 teeth that have come through and we are waiting for his left fang to break the skin. (It is so close!) I swear this kid will have a full set of teeth by the time he turns 1! Speaking of teeth he has turned into a little biter! I call him a vampire because he has bit me on the collarbone and shoulder several times. Let me tell you, it doesn't feel great... He loves his bath time and I found out not too long ago that he loves being in a pool. Jack is so close to crawling it is crazy! He gets up on all 4's and rocks back and forth but can't get the arm and legs to work together consistently. He is going to get it soon!
I don't know what we did to deserve a boy as wonderful as Jack but I count my blessings everyday!
Rest and digest time

Getting his plyometrics in

Roxy has to supervise

All you have to do to get him to crawl is put the remote in front of him

The remote has so much drool on it!

Once he wakes up from a nap and eats it is floor time

Of course Roxy is there to supervise again...

He gets so excited!

Trying to eat everything...

He's trying!

Looks like he is going to do a modified push up!

The start of the crawl...

He's getting up there...

And he's up!

He's working on moving one leg at a time instead of hopping

Loves his playtime!
