4th of July

I love the 4th of July. Everyone wears red, white, and blue, bar-b-ques, drinks beer and hangs out. The only thing I wish is that we had slightly cooler temperatures so we could actually enjoy the outdoors and want to watch the fireworks. :(
We had a great day. Jack and I started the day off at my mom's house with the crew--Amy, Eric, Alyssa, Brendan, Ryan, Katie and Connor. Gabe's night game got moved to the daytime to accommodate the fireworks show so he couldn't join us. It was fun for all of the cousins to get together and play. The funny thing is Jack and Connor who are a year apart weigh the same! I know that will change as Jack starts to walk but I think it's funny right now! We then came home for a short nap and then went to the Bauer's for some pool time and food! It was nice because Gabe got to play with Jack in the water (something only I had done up to this point) so I got to be the photographer. :)  Such a great time, I wish we could do it everyday!!

Jack is all about standing up right now. My mom swears if I take this coffee table home he will be pulling himself up on it. I'm not a coffee table fan...sorry Jack.
